I love working with oils--the colors are incredibly vibrant and rich. Although I like to alternate my paintings by using a palette knife or a brush, I especially love the textures I can achieve with a palette knife.

My special area of interest these days is painting on planks of pine wood. Both the shape and heft of the plank of wood make these paintings very exciting and unique.
